Australia’s Energy Future: Air Water Fire Earth. Spoiled for Choice?

The AIE Sydney Branch is pleased to host the 2012 AIE National Conference in Sydney, and we invite you to participate in our premier national event. With a carefully selected mix of national and international speakers, covering a cross section of the energy industry we are sure you will find the program compelling.

Following the very successful national conferences in 2006 – Energy at the Crossroads (Melbourne) and 2010 Australia’s Energy – Next Generation (Adelaide), Sydney Branch is preparing to host the AIE’s next National Conference.

AIE National Conferences are unique. The AIE is not an industry lobby group or special interest group. We don’t promote one form of energy over another, or represent just one sector of the industry. Our aim is to inform and provide quality insight and analysis for professionals across all industrial sectors. Our National Conference will provide a unique opportunity for all professionals in industry, commerce and government to hear from key industry experts about what our Energy Future will look like.

Our theme – Australia’s Energy Future: Air Water Fire Earth. Spoiled for Choice? – reflects Australia’s unique and enviable position in the world, with abundant and diverse energy resources, while still facing the challenge of achieving long term sustainability.

As well as invited speakers, the Conference will provide an opportunity for delegates to present on a topic of their interest. These papers, which will be peer reviewed prior to acceptance, will be presented during parallel sessions for special topics. The papers will be published after the Conference.
